ON-SITE REGISTRATION ONLY THE MORNING OF THE CONFERENCE AFTER FEBRUARY 19You may register onsite the day of the conference in the Michigan League, on the Concourse Level. Onsite registration will begin at 7:00 am. A $15.00 administrative charge will be added to the registration fee. Payments may be made by credit card, cash, check, or money order only. (UM P-Cards may not be used to pay for registration fees.). Please download the registration form, fill it out and bring it with you to the Concourse Level of the Michigan League on the morning of the conference. Early registration is now CLOSED. However, you may register the morning of the conference at the Michigan League but there will be an additional administrative charge ($15.00) for onsite registration and lunch will not be available for onsite registrants. (There are several restaurants in the League that do serve lunch.) SEE FORMS IN THE SIDEBAR FOR ONSITE REGISTRATION. 2009 WCTF Conference Keynote Speaker: Dr. Howard G. AdamsDr. Howard G. Adams is the founder and president of H.G. Adams and Associates, Inc., a consulting and training company that specializes in assisting colleges and universities in developing the academic, personal, career and professional skills of their students and staff. The company offers comprehensive workshops that provide practical techniques and strategies for planning, implementing, and monitoring academic, career, and life goal plans. Dr. Adams was the Founding Director of the GEM National Institute on Mentoring, and served as the Executive Director of the National Consortium for Graduate Degrees for Minorities in Engineering and Science, Inc. from 1989-1991. He has served as a member of the U.S. Congressional Task Forces on Women, Minorities and the Handicapped in Science and Technology (1989-91). Dr. Adams has also been the featured keynote speaker for more than 400 colleges and universities, and conducted seminars and training sessions for various Fortune 500 companies, governmental agencies and civic groups. With numerous publications to his credit, including the following Mentoring for Professional Development: A Mentor/Protégé Orientation Handbook (1998); The Mentorship Briefing Guide: Handbook for Establishing & Implementing A Mentoring Program (1998); Dr. Adams' most recent book is Get Up With Something On Your Mind: Lessons for Navigating Life (2004). Dr. Adams began his secondary education with a Bachelor of Science from Norfolk State University, where he served as vice president for Student Affairs from 1974-1977. He went on to complete a MS from Virginia State University and earn a PhD from Syracuse University.
