ADVANCING TOGETHER: State of Women of Color Faculty Conference at the University of Michigan

Women of Color in the Academy Project presents a conference for faculty and administrators to discuss ways that we can work together to institute systemic change, share strategies for career success, and connect with other faculty. The conference will be held at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 11am-5pm.

Registration is now open and space is limited to 120 participants. So that we can arrange for lunch and room seating, please register for this free event by 2/25/11. WOCAP is funded by the Office of the Provost and administered through the Center for the Education of Women.

The half-day conference will feature breakout sessions of interest to faculty, postdocs, as well as those in leadership positions. There will be a networking luncheon and a keynote address by Dr. Nancy “Rusty” Barcelo in between the two breakout sessions. A dessert reception will follow the conference.
