CEW Welcomes New Development Director–Mary Lynn Stevens

Mary Lynn Stevens CEW Director of DevelopmentMary Lynn Stevens has been named the new Director of Development at the University of Michigan’s Center for the Education of Women (CEW). Stevens comes to CEW from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she spent ten years as the Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations and Special Projects.

Stevens has also served as a program director at the University of Michigan Alumni Association and, before that, worked as a curator and program director at The Henry Ford Museum.

Stevens’ extensive background encompasses all phases of development—from corporate and foundation support to major gifts, annual giving and special events. CEW will benefit not only from Stevens’ expertise but also from her strong commitment to CEW’s mission of supporting women’s personal, education, career, professional and leadership growth.

According to CEW Director Gloria Thomas, “We are delighted that Mary Lynn is joining the Center’s staff. As a graduate of a women’s college, a mother of two, and a former public historian of domestic life in the US, she understands women’s issues deeply and on many levels.”
