A Conversation with Activist Selma James: Sex, Race and Class

Join CEW as we welcome Selma James to campus for a discussion of her new collection of writings entitled "Sex Race and Class."

Selma James is a women's rights activist, anti-racist campaigner, and author. Known for having coined the terminology "unwaged" to describe the caring work women do, and it has since entered the English language to describe all who work without wages.

A reception and book signing will follow this presentation.
