The Community College Student Transfer Program

Whether you are a community college student who has already transferred to the University of Michigan, or you are considering making such a transfer . . . The Center for the Education of Women is one campus spot you should definitely visit. CEW is excited about a whole range of events and services we have created, all aimed at giving you the information and support you need to succeed at UM. For over forty-five years CEW has been helping students to adjust and thrive on our campus. Now, with generous financial support from our friends and donors, our new Community College Transfer Student Program (CCTSP) offers you a range of events and services. Our doors are open to you and our services are free. Make success a part of your future. CEW can help!

Events Organized Specifically for all Community College Transfer Students:

  • An open house for all community college transfers each semester
  • Speakers and discussion groups on topics of concern to community college transfers
  • Support groups based on needs and schedules of community college transfers
  • In addition, you are welcome to make use of all of CEW’s services including free counseling, emergency assistance and scholarships for eligible returning students, and library resources, as well as all of our workshops and programs.
