During her career in the music industry, Drew oversaw the recording of hit records like “Maria Maria”, “My Love Is Your Love” and “A Rose Is Still A Rose” with artists including Carlos Santana, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Lauryn Hill, Monica, Brandy, Deborah Cox, Method Man, Q-Tip, Brand Nubian, Mary J. Blige, John Legend, Estelle, Kanye West and more. She was a Vice President of A&R at Arista Records, a Director of A&R at Def Jam Recordings, and the General Manager of John Legend’s independent record label, Homeschool (Atlantic), where she oversaw the recording of Estelle’s Grammy-winning single, American Boy.

In 2017 Drew broke her silence in The New York Times about sexual assault and harassment in the music industry. She is the main subject of HBO Max documentary, On The Record, directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmakers, Amy Ziering and Kirby Dick. She is also an honors graduate of Harvard Business School’s MBA program and a graduate of Stanford University.

Drew lives with her two children and their two cats, George and Weezie, in Brooklyn, NY, where she is writing a memoir for Harper Collins and producing music and other original content for her new multi-media company, CLAIM.
