Community Celebration Honoring 2019 Graduates and the Start of Summer

Together, let’s celebrate the graduation of students from across campus and enjoy a festive, relaxing vibe as we head into summer. Stop by and enjoy delicious refreshments in our recently renovated, bright and airy gathering space. Families, including children, are welcome.

Ohana Overview:

  • 1:00 – 3:00 pm – Make your own adornment with fresh orchids, and enjoy sharing delicious food in community

  • 1:30 -1:45 pm – Hula performance, highlighting its origin, cultural significance, and the symbolism of movements

  • 1:45 – 1:50 pm – Celebration of 2019 Graduates, brief remarks, Tiffany Marra, CEW+ Director

  • 1:50 – 2:15 pm – Hula lesson – an opportunity to try out the movements

  • 2:15 – 2:30 pm – A repeat of Hula performance with a talk about its origin, cultural significance, and the symbolism of movements

ACCESSIBILITY: CEW+ is located on the second floor and is accessible by stairs or elevator. To access the elevator, please use the entrance at the northwest corner of the building (to your right when facing the building).  A CEW+ staff member will direct you when you check in at the welcome table.
