Advanced Leadership Program

CEW accepts nominations for the Advanced Leadership Program during the months of June and July, and staff selected for the program are notified in August. Participants will experience a unique opportunity to further develop their leadership skills through presentations by executive and senior-level University administrators, active participation in focused discussions on organizational development that are supplemented by assigned readings and small group discussion, and the creation of an independent project that must engage the principles of leadership and systems change management. Participants will also receive individual and group consultation and support during the independent project phase.

Selection Criteria:

Employees must be nominated by a department/unit manager or supervisor to be considered for this program. CEW considers diversity of experience, representation across University units, and merit in assembling the cohort. If you have any questions about the Advanced Leadership Program, please contact CEW by phone at 734-764-6005 or via email at
