Conference Theme: Planning + Action + Perseverance = Success!

Keynote Speaker: Donna Brazile, Political Strategist and Georgetown University Professor

FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO ONLY ATTEND THE KEYNOTE

This year, for the first time, you may attend the keynote presentation without attending the conference. If you are registering for the conference, your registration for the keynote is included.

FOR THOSE ATTENDING ONLY the keynote presentation, which is free and open to the public, registration will be open until Thursday, March 7, 2013. Please use the provided link to register via a separate keynote only registration page, so as not to confuse keynote registrants with conference attendees.

 (Please note: There will be a special reception with Donna Brazile that is open only to conference registrants.

This event is open to all UM personnel (staff, faculty, and students) and to the general public.

Conference Registration and Payment

If you have registered and are paying by check, money order or cash, please make sure your payment arrives at the CEW office at this address: CEW, 330 E. Liberty Street, Ann Arbor, MI 48104 prior to the conference.

Deadline to Register: Monday, March 4th by 5:00 pm (Deadline is extended!!!)

If you register online prior to the conference, you may pay by: shortcode, cash, check or money order, or credit card. 

UM Staff and Faculty: $100

UM Students and Retirees: $85

Non-UM Attendees: $100

Please contact the CEW office via telephone (734-764-6005) or email (wctfadmin@umich.edu) to receive a coupon code if you are a student or retiree. 


Group Rates:

If one UM department will be sending 3 or more persons to the WCTF conference, please follow this process to receive a $15  discount for each person.

A. Complete the registration process for each staff member. (Staff may register themselves as long as they are included on the submitted list.)

B. Then, the administrator should email a list of the staff who are attending the conference to the CEW finance assistant, Wanlada Ault, at mamault@umich.edu. 

C. CEW will apply the discount after registration closes on March 4th, based on the submitted list and the department recorded on registration.  A receipt for the transactions will be forwarded to the person listed as the authorized signer for the department.

CANCELLATIONS: No registrations can be cancelled after March 6, 2013.


Onsite Registration (March 8, 2013):

* UM Students and Retirees: $85

* UM Staff and Faculty: $100

* Non-UM Attendees: $120

There will be limited onsite registration. Attendees may pay for onsite conference registration by either shortcode, cash, check or money order. Credit cards will not be accepted for onsite registration. Please note that onsite fee does not guarantee lunch. 

Keynote ONLY Registration

The keynote presentation is free of charge, and open to the public. Registration for the keynote presentation ONLY will be open until Thursday, March 7, 2013. Please use the provided link to register via a separate event page, so as not to confuse keynote registrants with conference attendees. 


Registration Instructions

1. Review the conference schedule.

2. Look over the workshop descriptions for both session A and session B.

3. Go to the 'Register' block at the top left portion of the page.

4. Make your selections for Workshop A (choose only one), Lunch (3 options), and Workshop B (choose only one) - then click the 'Register' button.

5. Complete page 1 of registration - "Create Conference Registration Form"

6. Verify that your correct options are selected on page 2 - "Shopping Cart" - then click the 'Checkout' button.

7. Complete page 3 of registration - "Checkout" - by providing contact, payment information, and any order notes that you would like to include. Then click the 'Review Order' button.

8. Verify that all of your information is correct and click the 'Submit Order' button.

9. The final screen should say "Order Complete" with additional information included. Please check your email and make sure that you received a confirmation email from CEW. If you did not receive a confirmation email, then you are NOT registered for the conference. Please call the CEW office (734-764-6005) or email (wctfadmin@umich.edu) to check the status of your registration.


Visitor Parking

Limited visitor parking is available on Central Campus at the Palmer Drive structure at the corner of Washtenaw Avenue and Huron Street. Visitors should pull a parking ticket upon entering the structure and pay the cashier upon exiting. The parking rate at the Palmer structure is $0.55 per half-hour. 

AVI Parking is also available in the Fletcher Street parking structure (next to the Power Center and University Health Services) and in the Thayer Street structure. Please arrive early because these parking structures will fill up quickly.
