This 3-day interdisciplinary, multi-sector conference will focus on identifying and combating barriers that women living in poverty face as they seek economic security and mobility. National researchers and practitioners will join U-M faculty, bringing multiple perspectives to this complex concern with policy recommendations as the expected outcome. Women & Economic Security is a joint conference presented by the Center for the Education of Women (CEW), University of Michigan, and Re:Gender (formerly the National Council for Research on Women).

To register for the conference, please make your selections in the registration block on the left.

CONFERENCE FEES:  The conference registration fee is $150 to attend all three days, or $100 per day. All U-M staff, faculty and students, and all Michigan Partners Project members may attend the full conference at no cost. All non-U-M students may attend the conference for $25.00. Conference scholarships are also available for interested parties. Please contact CEW for your special registration code at contactcew@umich.edu and specify your affiliation.

ATTENDING ONLY THE KEYNOTE: If you are interested in ONLY attending the keynote, and not the conference itself, register for just the keynote at: Sheryl WuDunn, opening keynote registration only.

REGISTRATION DAY 2 SPECIAL NOTE:  If you are registering for Day 2 (Thursday, May 15, 2014) of the conference, please make sure to choose one breakout session that you will attend and select one alternate choice in the event that your first choice is not available.

ONSITE REGISTRATION: Onsite registration will take place in the lobby of Rackham Auditorium on Wednesday from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Thursday from 8:00 am - 12pm, and Friday, 8:00 am - 1:00 pm in the Assembly Hall, 4th Floor. Please contact staff at registration with any questions or concerns.
