This next session of CEW+ Financial wellness is for you! Join CEW+ Director Tiffany Marra for a lively workshop with Michael Welton, Fidelity Workplace Financial Consultant, Alanna Troup, University of Michigan Benefits Administrator, and Katie McCollum Project Manager University Human Resources. They will provide information on ways to maximize your retirement savings, options to save for retirement beyond your workplace savings plan, and answer questions you may have about our U-M-specific benefits. Make sure that you attend to learn tips and tricks to make the most of all U-M has to offer. This session will not be recorded.

Alanna Troup has worked at the University of Michigan for the past five years as a benefits administrator in the Benefits Administration Office. She helps newly hired faculty and staff understand their benefits and retirement programs at the university as well as provides benefit consultations and education for upcoming retirees. 



Katie McCollum has worked at the University of Michigan for 27 years, currently, she is a project manager in University Human Resources.  She provides strategic support for the employment process, careers.umich.edu website and the university’s applicant management system.  Additionally, she serves as the vendor liaison for the university’s background check vendor and manages the new employee orientation program. 



Michael Welton, Fidelity Workplace Financial Consultant, has more than 20 years with the company. He was previously a senior account executive at Fidelity’s Ann Arbor, Michigan Investor Center. A Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠, investment advisor representative, registered securities representative, and licensed insurance representative, Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Central Michigan University.
