The Alumni Association’s Diversity Dialogue Series examines issues of diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice. As a part of Women’s History Month, join the Alumni Association, Center for the Education of Women+ and University of Michigan Alumnae Council on Thursday, March 17, at 12 p.m. ET, for Reversing the She-cession: A Moderated Conversation on Empowering Women and Getting Back to Work. This panel discussion will provide advice and tangible career insights for alumni as they navigate reentry into the workforce after a career gap or break due to COVID-19 or other reasons.

Dr. Tiffany Marra, MS’98, PhD’06, will moderate an alumnae panel discussion featuring Dr. Lynn Wooten, PhD’05, who will address her research on the she-cession; Natalie Paul, ’07, who will discuss insights and advice from a recruiter perspective and the use of LinkedIn; and Jill Sacher, ’88, who shares her story on reentering the workforce after a 14-year career break. This panel will not only provide advice that is practical and backed by research but connect you to a network of alums and their empowering career stories.

This session is a partnership event between the University of Michigan Alumnae Council, The Center for the Education of Women+, and the Alumni Association’s Diversity Dialogue Series.
