Navigating Success: a First Gen Series is an engaging 3-week series designed to create a supportive community for First Generation students. At its core, this series aims to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by First Gen students, providing them with the tools and resources to thrive during their college journey. Each session is crafted to include both an educational component and creative activities that promote bonding and personal growth. While participants are welcome to attend any individual session, we encourage you to participate in all three to maximize the benefits of this experience.

The Art of Values: [Meditative Art Workshop for] Aligning with Your Core Values
College is a chance for many to identify and strengthen your core values, but it can feel overwhelming. In our final segment of the Navigating Success: a First Gen Series, we will explore values identification through thoughtful, meditative and creative processes. You will leave this workshop with a piece of artwork that you’ve created as well as a better sense of how your identity can shape your academic and career journey.
Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP requested for planning purposes.
