WOCAP 2019 Overnight Summer Writing Retreat

Have you been putting off that manuscript or proposal or course syllabus?  
Do you have an upcoming deadline?
Do you need some accountability?

This is a fantastic opportunity to get some writing done in a beautiful setting, amidst your hard-working colleagues outside of Ann Arbor! You will also have the opportunity to discuss writing tips, connect with other WOCAP members over meals and short breaks, and receive support and encouragement towards meeting your summer writing goals.

Thursday, June 20
8:00 am – 9:00 am Breakfast
9:00 am – 12:00 pm Writing
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Writing
5:00 pm – 6:00 pm Break
6:00 pm – 7:00 pm Dinner
7:00 pm – 9:00 pm (Optional group activity)

Friday, June 21
8:00 am – 9:00 am Breakfast
9:00 am – 12:00 pm Writing
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm Lunch
1:00 pm – 3:00 pm Writing
3:00 pm – Wrap-up

Cost

Cost for 2-Day Retreat (includes room & meals):
$90 for a shared room (two people/double occupancy)
$165 for a single room (single occupancy)

If cost is an issue, please contact Gloryvee Fonseca-Bolorin at [email protected] to inquire about a partial scholarship to assist with room & meals or childcare expenses. There is also a reduced rate for single-day participation in the retreat (no overnight stay). The deadline to inquire about a partial scholarship or single-day participation is Monday, May 13th.

Registration Deadline

Registration deadline for a guaranteed space is Wednesday, May 15. Please register as early as possible, space is limited.

Transportation

We will be coordinating a carpool to Maumee Bay Lodge & Conference Center located at 1750 State Park Road #2, Oregon, OH 43616.
