Navigating Success: a First Gen Series is an engaging 3-week series designed to create a supportive community for First Generation students. At its core, this series aims to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by First Gen students, providing them with the tools and resources to thrive during their college journey. Each session is crafted to include both an educational component and creative activities that promote bonding and personal growth. While participants are welcome to attend any individual session, we encourage you to participate in all three to maximize the benefits of this experience.

CANCELED: Session # 2 – November 8

Crafting Your Budgeting Journal: The Art of Saving

Budgeting is an essential skill that many of us are not taught in school. In week 2 of the Navigating Success: a First Gen Series, we will learn about the basics of creating a budget and design our own journals for maintaining a budget. Whether you are new to budgeting or already budget your monthly expenses, we invite you to join us for this creative workshop.

Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP requested for planning purposes.
