Navigating Success: a First Gen Series is an engaging 3-week series designed to create a supportive community for First Generation students. At its core, this series aims to address the unique challenges and opportunities faced by First Gen students, providing them with the tools and resources to thrive during their college journey. Each session is crafted to include both an educational component and creative activities that promote bonding and personal growth. While participants are welcome to attend any individual session, we encourage you to participate in all three to maximize the benefits of this experience.

Stitching Confidence: Overcoming Imposter Syndrome One Stitch at a Time

In the introduction to the Navigating Success: a First Gen Series we invite you to join us to discuss the not-so-unusual feeling of impostor syndrome, which often involves doubt in your placement within the communities in which you belong. Join us for a unique and empowering workshop that combines personal growth with creativity. In this interactive session, participants will delve into the world of impostor syndrome, gaining insights and strategies to overcome it, while also engaging in a hands-on embroidery craft.

Free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. RSVP requested for planning purposes.
