Events & Workshops

As space is limited in our programs, CEW requests registration for all programs. Some programs have an associated fee: credit cards are accepted during the online registration and check, money order, or cash are accepted at the CEW office prior to the program. CEW will continue to offer limited workshop scholarships for those who might not otherwise be able to attend. Please call the 734.764.6005 if you would like to discuss a workshop scholarship.

This campus wide Mentoring Symposium will narrate the story of mentoring at the University of Michigan, and showcase the variety of mentoring programs that have emerged over the years to facilitate student success and retention. The symposium will offer faculty​, staff​ and students engaged in mentoring a chance to share promising practices and connect with peers and colleagues.

The Women of Color in the Academy Project (WOCAP) will present its 7th Annual Shirley Verrett Award on February 12th, 2018 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at Stamps Auditorium on U-M's North Campus. A reception honoring the awardee will immediately follow in the lobby.
